CALL FOR ENTRIES
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: October 20, 2017
Philadelphia Center for the Book is seeking member artists to participate in Something Old, Something New, an exhibition at the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Parkway Central Library (1901 Vine St., Phila.). This exhibition will take place November 13, 2017- January 26, 2018.
Members are invited to submit work to represent the impressive quality and variety of art that comes from PCB’s member artists. Each artist may submit 3 old works and 3 new works, at least one of each will be displayed. Items will be displayed in cases and will not be handled.
The Library does not sell work, but contact info will be available to viewers; sale of work can be handled directly between the artist and interested parties. Please note: Work will be on display during our annual Book, Paper, Scissors fair Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10:00am-4:00pm.
While submissions are open only to members of Philadelphia Center for the Book, anyone may become a member via our website before submission. There is no fee to submit.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Submissions must include the following and should be emailed to exhibitions@philadelphiacenterforthebook.org.

– Images of submitted piece (up to 6 entries per member – 3 old and 3 new)
– Short bio

Selection notification via email: October 22, 2017
Work to be delivered in person to the Library: November 9, 2017 from 9:00 am-5:00pm
Work to be delivered via mail to the Library: November 9, 2017
Show opens: November 13, 2017
Closing reception: TBD
Exhibition dates: November 13, 2017- January 26, 2018
