Our Members
Support from the members of the Philadelphia Center for the Book has enabled us to begin to explore together the many ways that we can fulfill our mission. Our members include artists, librarians, book dealers and collectors, teachers, writers, and people who simply love books.
There are many benefits to membership in the Philadelphia Center for the Book, not the least of which is the satisfaction of participating in a dynamic new organization. In addition members receive discounts at all of our public programs, have access to special exhibition opportunities, and benefit from a network of book-related individuals and institutions.
Members’ meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about the Philadelphia Center for the Book. Hosted by Philadelphia area special collections libraries, meetings begin with a presentation by the librarian of some favorite items in the collection. This is followed by discussion of the Center for the Book activities.
The Philadelphia Center for the Book is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
