Philadelphia Center for the Book is seeking member artists to participate in Read Me, an exhibition in the Printmaking Gallery, 6th Floor, The University of the Arts.
Members are invited to submit work to represent the impressive quality and variety of art that comes from PCB’s member artists. An important requirement is that all submissions involve text in some way. If books, they must be able to be handled. Applicants are encouraged to submit up to three works. All works must be ready to be hung on the wall or displayed.
Work in the exhibition will not be for sale, but artists can be contacted outside the gallery by interested buyers.
While submissions are open only to members of Philadelphia Center for the Book, anyone may become a member via our website before submission.
There is no fee to submit.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Submissions must include the following and should be emailed to exhibitions@philadelphiacenterforthebook.org.
o Application form
o Images of each submitted piece up to 3 entries per member (These may be used for promotion purposes.)
o Short bio, with website and email address, in a Word document
