Members & Friends Meeting
Join us for our first members meeting of 2013! We will meet in the Print and Picture Collection where our very own member Donna Globus has her exhibit Constructed Narratives. We’ll also take a look at some artists’ book from the Free Library’s collection.
An exhibition of artists’ books and prints by Donna Globus. As an architect and construction professional for over twenty years, the interconnection of structure and meaning is essential to her work as a book artist. Book structure informs the content of her work, and the narrative, in turn, informs the structure. In the end, form and content are integrally joined; the structure becomes a necessary participant in the telling of the story.
Come catch up with old friends and hear about our amazing 2013 schedule of programming. Working on a new project, or just finished something and want to show it off? Bring it on down! Feel free to chat up the Board, too, about ideas for projects and programming.
