Philadelphia Center for the Book is showing member artists in Paper Works, an exhibition at The Art Dept., a gallery in Fishtown (1638 E Berks St., Phila.). This exhibition represents the impressive quality and variety of art that comes from PCB’s member artists.
CALL FOR ENTRIES
Philadelphia Center for the Book is seeking member artists to participate in Paper Works, an exhibition at The Art Dept., a gallery in Fishtown (1638 E Berks St., Phila.). Members are invited to submit new work to represent the impressive quality and variety of art that comes from PCB’s member artists. Applicants are encouraged to submit up to three books, prints, or any other form of art using paper. All work must be ready to be hung on the wall or displayed on a 10-inch shelf. All books must be able to be handled. Work can be sold; the gallery will take 50%.
While submissions are open only to members of Philadelphia Center for the Book, anyone may become a member via our website before submission. There is no fee to submit.
Submissions must include the following and should be emailed to exhibitions@philadelphiacenterforthebook.org.
- Application form (click here for PDF download) – optionally, logged in members (click here to log in, then return to this page) may submit their application using the form below (only visible to logged in members)
- Images of each submitted piece (up to 3 entries per member – please email with a copy of your submitted application email confirmation – emailed to you after you submit the form below – or your PDF form)
- Short bio (please email with a copy of your submitted application email confirmation or PDF form)
