Summer Book Arts Workshop Series 2013 – Four Fantastic Folds

July 13, 2013
10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Anderson Hall, University of the Arts

$75/Members, $95/Non-Members. Material fees are paid to the Teaching Artist on the day of the workshop.

In Four Fantastic Folds, we will make four books that fold up in magical ways and reveal secrets when opened. Starting with the woven flexagon, we will continue with the flower fold (or endless origami), then move on to the map fold. We will finish by sewing a small paper covered notebook, the pages of which also fold to hide information. We will make our own rubber stamps to fill our books with imagery. *$10 Materials fee
