Anne and Jerome Fisher Fine Arts Library
Members & Friends Meeting
Join the Philadelphia Center for the Book at Fisher Fine Arts Library, part of Penn Libraries, to explore the breadth of its collections, from historical rare books about landscape architecture to contemporary artist books to a Materials Library and a letterpress studio. Come to be inspired, and learn about an upcoming opportunity for a Book Artist in Residence at the library – a collaboration of Philadelphia Center for the Book and Common Press. (Attendance is strongly encouraged for potential Artist-in-Residence applicants.)
The Fisher Fine Arts Library supports study, teaching and research in contemporary and historical aspects of art, architecture, city and regional planning, historic preservation, landscape architecture, studio art, and urban design. Text and image collections, in analog and digital form, have a global reach and concentrate on the arts of the western experience, Islam, South Asia and East Asia, from prehistory to the present.
